HOMEPOD Between existence and the creation of space | TEDxIASI
Space is the only thing which I trully love. I sense it. Light touches me softly, it wakes me up, it gives me energy. But that is just an example of how the natural form is in constant contact with our bodies. What if we can create these things?
In a recent talk at TEDxIasi, I've tested a theory. What if we create space in the same way we perceive it? The audience wasn't surprised. I felt like I was talking to scientists. They seemed to pick up the waves, congradulated me, asked questions and applauded.
I was saying that 'Throughout history man has built different spaces conceptualized upon the understanding of the mechanics of living, adapting and invading the natural environment, transferring the graphical reproduction of the natural form into architectural form. Not only that has analysed the cavities in which man used to live, but also analysed the senses which these spaces had to offer.'
From complex instruments like the wistle to more recent ones like the watch, to contemporary ones like the Internet of Things, we, as species, developed one of the most amazing instrument. Real time sensors.
We can now sense our environment. We can become part it it.
But what if we can create even more. What if we can transfer the sensory experience of our environment into the environment itself. This way, we could become one.
